The Asian Art Council (AAC) provides essential support to the Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and South and Southeast Asian art departments at LACMA. Art of the Middle East: CONTEMPORARY (AMEC) supports the Art of the Middle East department at LACMA, currently the only major American museum that actively collects and exhibits contemporary art of the Middle East.
